Chappell Roan Poster (2024)This poster is a merch concept based on Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” I started with a base image from this photoshoot and edited it so it looked like she was holding a lighter. This was a constant visual for me upon every listen, and I rendered by using a stock image of planet Earth. I applied the same stylistic treatment to the images for consistency and to make the assets my own (so-to-speak). 

The monochromatic pink palette is meant to evoke associations with femininity and lesbianism, and the grunge effect ties that into the “female rage” that’s been big in pop music throughout the 2020s—which are especially relevant given the relationship described in the song.
