Hay’s House (Rules) (2023) Mixed-media print poster designed with Wasted Spaces to mark the end of my time working with Keila Roberts. Inspired by the “House Rules” and guest check posters trending on Pinterest, Hay’s House (Rules) puts a personal twist on the idea, sharing seven lessons I’ve learned that speak to larger existential questions I’ve found myself asking often.
These values are centered around themes self-exploration, what it means to start working as a “creative,” and how to find purpose and fulfillment when you’re still a work-in-progress. Visually it uses pink and orange to leave a distinct imprint on the brand’s color minimal color palette of cobalt blue, black, brown, and off-white, commemorating the time I spent working with Keila. The title is a nod to the album Harry’s House.
